The PA major, administered by the Department of Economics and co-sponsored by the Department of Political Science, is one of 10 majors in the College of Business Administration.
It is designed for students who are interested in the relationships between government and the private sector. Students explore such things as the formation of public policy and the practice of public sector management at all levels of government. PA majors apply their training in business administration principles to situations in organizations that do not necessarily operate under a profit-maximizing motive.
