Dr. Baker joined the Economics Department at the University of Tennessee in 2002. He teaches Introductory Economics, International Business, part time with the Professional MBA program, and serves as a core faculty member in the Aerospace and Defense MBA program. In addition, he is the faculty adviser to several student organizations, including the UT Economics Club, Future Business Leaders of America, Delta Sigma Pi professional business fraternity, the International Economics Honors Society, FarmHouse fraternity and Delta Zeta sorority. He received his B.A. in Economics from the University of Kentucky, and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of New Mexico, with a specialization in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics.
